So...here's that blog I said I'd post xD

So here's the little tips for that Spring Summer look;
  • Make sure you highlight all of your favorite features. Use a highlighter - my favorite one is from Body Shop and costs around a fiver. Highlight your brow bone, cheek bone, and if you wish, highlight your lip line (This really plumps your lips and will draw the attention to them.)
  • If you are using a blush, use a very pale tone, so it looks like you are slightly blushed. Too much is a no-no. You don't want to look like a strawberry.
  • Apply a very thin line across your upper lash line with a brown liner - either liquid or pencil. This will give the illusion of wide, natural looking eyes. It will also help define them better.
  • Apply two coats of mascara, or one if you wish, careful not to get any part of your skin.
  • If applying foundation don't use a matte one. Use one that has light reflecting particles to make you seem like you have that summer glow.
  • You can brush a thin layer of bronzer over your face, but don't mix with a pink blush - this will just make it obvious that your look isn't natural. Use a bronzer a tone deeper for a contoured look.
  • When applying lipstick/gloss, make sure your lips are moisturized. If you have dry skin, a good exfoliation will work wonders. Then simply blot a tiny amount of either moisturizer or balm on your lips before applying the color.
  • When you apply the color to your lips, don't think one coat is enough. To ensure that it stays on for the maximum amount of time, apply a thin layer, blot on a tissue, repeat again, and then finally add a third layer, rubbing your upper lip and lower lip together to guarantee an even coverage.
This is not a step by step guide (Obviously!) and it's only tips on how to get that glowing, natural Summer Spring look.
I hope people like this. Just trying to help, and I hope it does.
